You have an opportunity this month to own a gorgeous Byron Carr oil painting of Mount Chocorua and the Chocorua Lake Basin while supporting the mission of the Chocorua Lake Conservancy: to protect the scenic and natural resources of the Chocorua Lake Basin and maintain public access to the lake and nearby trails.
Acclaimed artist Byron Carr of Contoocook, NH, has generously donated to the CLC two beautiful, framed oil paintings of the Chocorua Lake Basin, with Mount Chocorua in the background. To see more of Byron’s work and learn more about him, please visit Wet Paint Tamworth and the Covered Bridge Gallery.
The first painting (16"x20") is for sale at the Art Works Gallery in Chocorua, and the second (24"x30"), also on display at Art Works, is available by online auction here through Saturday, August 31 (Labor Day weekend).
Art Works Gallery, which displays the work of artists working in diverse media, is located at 132 White Mountain Highway in Chocorua, and is open most days in August from 10AM-5PM. If you’re planning a special trip out, you can give them a ring at 603-323-8041 to confirm that they’re open.
This bid will be placed as a proxy bid, the system will bid the minimum needed to keep winning the item up to your maximum.
Are you sure you want to 'buy it now'
You can enter an online bid as a proxy bid.
The system will automatically place your bid as the lowest amount needed to win the item.
If another bidder places a higher bid, but still below your maximum, then your bid is automatically
raised so you remain the winning bidder.
For example, given an item (with a bid increment of $50) you bid $1,000 when the highest bid is $200.
Your bid will be placed at $250. If someone else bids $300 then your bid will be raised to $300
and remain the winning bid. If someone else bids $1,050 then that becomes the new highest bid.
If you submit a bid not as a proxy bid then the full amount is recorded at the bid straight away.
Note: any images are representative only and may not be the exact item, auction item ordering may not have been finalized and is subject to change.
